SPACES World Artists Program (SWAP) is a residency program for international, U.S. and local artists, founded in 2002 to foster cultural exchange between audiences in Northeast Ohio and artists from around the world. SWAP residencies are intensive opportunities for experimental artists to produce and present new work.

VANDALORUM

Location: Varnamo, Sweden

Grant: studio, cottage , travel and per diem

Vandalorum is a residency provided a large studio with public acess at Vandalorum Museum for Art and Design. Accomodation for the residency artist, memory resercher Ulla Manns (Sodertorn University) and the assistant Maja Andersson was provided in a traditional red cottage on the country side.

The St Petersburg PRO ARTE Foundation for Culture and Arts is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation founded in 1999. The Foundation studies and promotes art and culture of the 20th and 21st centuries in five realms: visual art, contemporary music, contemporary architecture, cultural journalism, and design. During the residency State of Mind was initiated a collaboration with Annica Karlsson Rixon.
